Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to any offer from KNIKSTUDIO and to any agreement (made remotely) between KNIKSTUDIO and the consumer. By making a payment, the consumer automatically agrees to our general terms and conditions. KNIKSTUDIO reserves the right to supplement and/or modify the general terms and conditions and the content of the website at any time, particularly when required by (legal) regulations. The most recent version of the general terms and conditions always applies to the agreement with the consumer. Dutch law applies to the formulation of the general terms and conditions of KNIKSTUDIO.
Prices
The prices for the products offered by KNIKSTUDIO are displayed in euros and include 21% VAT. Any price adjustments will be indicated on the KNIKSTUDIO website. Once the consumer has placed an order, no price changes can be applied to that specific order.
Material and Product
The products of KNIKSTUDIO are handmade by KNIKSTUDIO from PMMA acrylic. Since the products are handmade, there may be variations between deliveries. KNIKSTUDIO is not responsible for any discrepancies. During the manufacturing process of the KNIKS, small scratches may occur, and KNIKSTUDIO cannot be held accountable for these. The website contains a "Care & Maintenance" page, which must be carefully read and followed by the consumer. KNIKSTUDIO cannot be held liable for damage caused to a KNIKSTUDIO product due to improper handling and/or failure to adhere to the general and product-specific usage and maintenance/care instructions.
Orders
When the consumer places an order on the KNIKSTUDIO website, they enter into an agreement subject to the general terms and conditions of KNIKSTUDIO. After the consumer has placed an order, they will receive a confirmation via email. Changing the ordered product is no longer possible once the order has been placed. If for any reason the indicated delivery time cannot be met, KNIKSTUDIO will contact the consumer for further discussion regarding the delivery time. For large orders, different delivery times may apply, and the consumer should contact KNIKSTUDIO to make arrangements via info@knikstudio.nl. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the consumer. At this time, only orders within the Netherlands can be processed.
Payment and delivery time
Payment is made through full prepayment (including any shipping costs) via the payment options provided by the consumer on the webshop. Unless otherwise stated (which will be communicated via email), the consumer can trust that the product from KNIKSTUDIO will be delivered according to the delivery time specified on the website, which is 15 working days. KNIKSTUDIO is not liable for any delivery delays caused by the shipping provider due to increased workload or events like strikes.If a product from KNIKSTUDIO is unexpectedly no longer available, KNIKSTUDIO will cancel the purchase agreement, and payments will be refunded.
Delivery and Assembly
The delivery address is the one provided by the consumer to KNIKSTUDIO. This address can only be changed after the order is placed if the consumer informs KNIKSTUDIO of the alternative delivery address within 2 hours of placing the order via info@knikstudio.nl.
When the consumer places an order through the KNIKSTUDIO webshop, they must enter the required details. The consumer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. KNIKSTUDIO cannot be held liable for any damage that occurs during delivery once the order has left KNIKSTUDIO.
If the consumer is not at home at the time of delivery, any consequences, actions, and costs associated with this are the responsibility of the consumer. All KNIKSTUDIO products are delivered fully assembled unless stated otherwise in the product-specific information.
The product can only be picked up at KNIKSTUDIO by appointment. If the consumer wishes to pick up the order, they must contact KNIKSTUDIO via info@knikstudio.nl before placing the order to inquire about the options.
Warranty
The consumer can expect a quality product from KNIKSTUDIO. In case of damage or defects that reasonably should not occur under normal use, the consumer can contact KNIKSTUDIO within 30 days of purchase. This does not apply to scratches, as stated on the website, scratches are inevitable with PMMA acrylic. In consultation with KNIKSTUDIO, the defect will be addressed and a solution will be determined.
Liability
All information, user guidelines/advice, and/or prices provided by KNIKSTUDIO are purely informational and no rights can be derived from them. Additionally, it is not permitted to use any information and/or images published on the KNIKSTUDIO website without explicit written permission from KNIKSTUDIO, regardless of the intended purpose.
Copyright
All content, including images, files, texts, and designs on this website, is owned by KNIKSTUDIO. The photos used in the design of the website were commissioned by KNIKSTUDIO. The use of these photos by third parties is not permitted without written consent from KNIKSTUDIO.
Privacy Statement
KNIKSTUDIO respects the privacy of the consumer. In order to provide optimal and secure service, KNIKSTUDIO requires personal data to ensure the best possible service. Protecting the security and privacy of the consumer's personal data is also in the interest of KNIKSTUDIO.
Returns
For orders, the statutory maximum reflection period of 14 days applies, starting from the receipt of a product from KNIKSTUDIO. The reflection period does not apply to custom-made products. If the reflection period is used, the consumer must inform KNIKSTUDIO by email.
If the consumer wishes to return the product, they must notify KNIKSTUDIO via email at info@knikstudio.nl, including their name, address, and the bank account number to which the refund can be made. KNIKSTUDIO would also appreciate knowing the reason for the return request. The product can be returned by the consumer through a Dutch parcel delivery service of their choice. All costs and risks associated with the return process are the responsibility of the buyer, including any damage that may occur during the return. The product must be complete, undamaged, and free from signs of use. If a returned product is damaged, the consumer will not receive a refund.
The shipping costs for the product from KNIKSTUDIO to the consumer are not refunded. Once the consumer has informed KNIKSTUDIO via email that they will exercise their right to return within the aforementioned reflection period, they have 14 days to return the product to KNIKSTUDIO. After approval and receipt of the return shipment, KNIKSTUDIO will refund the purchase amount. If a return or multiple returns do not meet the conditions outlined above, the return will not be processed.
Force Majeure
If KNIKSTUDIO fails to deliver a product due to force majeure, we cannot be held liable for this. In such a case, KNIKSTUDIO will work with the consumer to find an appropriate solution.
